I was born in Bosnia and Herzegovina in 1991. The war brought my family to Spain, where I spent my formative years and pursued higher education. I successfully completed degrees in Law and Political Science, which laid the foundation for my academic journey.

Currently based in Germany, I hold the position of Research Associate while working towards my PhD in Political Science. My research primarily revolves around the intersection of gender and conflict, with a specific emphasis on understanding the enduring consequences of violence and its pivotal role in the recurrence of conflicts. Beyond my academic endeavours, I have a profound passion for photography and reading, which ultimately led me to the 1000 Dreams Project in Sarajevo.
